Heating and cooling load calculations are carried out to estimate the required capacity of heating and cooling systems, needed to maintain the required environment in the conditioned space. To estimate the required system capacities, a model is constructed using information on the design, indoor and outdoor conditions, specifications of the building, and utilisation of the conditioned space. The latter can include factors such as the occupancy, activity level, various appliances and equipment used. For comfort applications, the required indoor conditions are fixed by the criterion of thermal comfort. For the industrial or commercial applications, the required indoor conditions are fixed by the particular processes being performed or whatever is being stored. We will create detailed models of your project, with exact geometry, fabric build up, location, orientation, and internal gains as you specify them. The more input we put in the model, the more accurate the results will be.
